Adoption Application / Let’s Match you up!

Each pet you apply to adopt you will initially foster for a month. This provides both you and the animal an opportunity to figure out if you are the perfect fit for one another. During this period, the animal can be taken back with no judgment or contract

Please take your time and answer all questions, this will help us match you with the best cat for your needs and give you several options as we have multiple animals that fit a similar profile as well as to ensure that they go to safe and loving homes.

Do you or any of your family members have allergies? (This includes asthma, eczema and food)

What is your nationality?

Why are you looking to adopt or foster?

Do you understand the costs of taking care of a cat (500+ QR for yearly vet visits, 50-100 QR on food and litter weekly)?

Is there someone in your home during most of the day or is the home empty for long periods of time?

Do you have any other pets? If yes, please tell us their species, age, spayed/neutered? How are they with other animals? We’d love some pictures too!

Do you have any experience with cats or other animals? Please list any and all experiences.

Do you have kids under the age of 3 or do you plan on having a child soon?

Do you have a closed outdoor area/yard/garden? (Some cats are indoor/outdoor cats while some cats are indoor only)

What will you do with the cat when you travel on vacation?

What will you do with the cat if you leave Qatar permanently? Are you familiar with animal travel costs (2000+ QR) and animal traveling procedures? (Please note this question is REQUIRED if you are not from the State of Qatar)

We ask that our adopters stay in contact with us and keep us updated about our animals, are you willing to do so?

You must spay/neuter any animal that goes through our account, will you be doing so? (Please take note that there are contractual obligations)

What is your living situation? (Rented apartment or villa, owned apartment or villa, shared accommodation)

Would you be okay with a home visit from us prior to handing the animal over?

Which area do you live in?

Do you live with family or roommates? Have they approved getting a cat?

Are you allowed to have pets in your accommodation?

Are you looking for a certain temperament in a pet (needy cat or cat that is more independent and aloof).

Are you looking for a certain look (shorthair, longhair, color)?
