A microchip can be placed in your pet to help identify you as their owner if they ever get lost. An identification number — associated with the chip — is provided as proof. Do NOT lose this number!

The next step is to register your pet at petsafeqatar.com. Click “My Pets Details” and in detail, fill out the form under “Register Your Pet.” Make sure to keep this information updated in the event
that you move or change numbers.

The chip itself is inserted between your pet’s shoulder blades (with the exception of large birds, the chip is inserted into the breast*), it is a quick 5 minute procedure.
